Description:  The Market is located in Merchants Square in the heart of Williamsburg on Duke of Gloucester Street across from the College of William and Mary.  Flowerbeds and benches offer a tranquil setting for Market shopping while enjoying morning coffee, muffins, and the Chef at the Market.  Among the local products available are organic produce; free-range chickens, beef, and pork; oysters and crabs; herb and other potted plants; baked goods; honey; mushrooms; cheese; and cut flowers.
Directions:  From I-64 take exit 238 (Colonial Williamsburg/Camp Peary). From Richmond turn right onto Route 143, from Norfolk turn left onto Route 143.  Take a right at second stoplight onto Route 132 (N. Henry Street). Continue straight (do NOT go to Colonial Williamsburg’s Visitor Center).  Cross over railroad tracks through stoplight.  You are now on Henry Street.  The Market is held on Duke of Gloucester Street between Henry and Boundary Streets. Long-term parking for Merchants Square shopping is available in the Prince George Street Parking Garage or Francis Street lot.
Hours:  8 a.m. – Noon, Saturdays, May through October; November and December Holiday Markets; winter openings once a month.
Activities:  Chef at the Market demonstrations - 9:30 and 10:30 a.m.  Master Gardener booth and Music – 9-11 a.m.
