Recipes: Recipes to Inspire You |
All sorts of people, from pre-schoolers to professional chefs, submitted their original recipes to Eat Local Recipe Contest for a chance to win one of two Virginia Grown/Virginia’s Finest prize packages, one for adults and one for kids up to age 12. The winners were chosen by random drawing from all eligible recipe/photo entries received by VDACS no later than August 15, 2009. Those winners, Emilyn and Graysen Shifflett, children's category, and Shirley McQueen, adult category, will receive a gift basket of Virginia Grown and Virginia's Finest products worth more than $100.
