Directions:  From Lynchburg and points west, take 460 east to Mt. Athos exit.  Turn right onto Stage Road, drive 3.3 miles, take left onto Paradise Hill Road.  Farm is 4.6 miles on right.  Note:  Road name changes to Trinity Road approximately ¼ mile from farm.  From Appomattox and points east, take 460 west to Concord traffic light.  Take right onto 608, then left in approximately 5 miles onto Vineyard Road.  Follow Vineyard Road to end, turn right onto Trinity Road.  Farm is approximately ¼ mile on right.
Hours:  Farm and farm store are open by appointment or chance.  Please call.
Special Comments:  Fishwood Farm Alpacas is a small, family-owned farm specializing in gentle, quality alpacas.  We welcome visitors and hold special events during the year.  Group tours are always welcome and can be tailored to meet the needs of the group. 
Products:  Alpaca yarn, clothing and accessories are available in our farm store, as well as educational items and toys.  Alpaca manure also available – no charge to gardeners.

Directions:  From Appomattox, take Route 727 (Red House Rd.) south, 7.5 miles.  Follow signs.
Hours:  7 a.m.–7 p.m., Monday-Saturday.  Closed Sunday
Special Comments:  Picnic tables and restroom are available.  School and church groups welcome by appointment.  Bring take home containers for blueberries and blackberries.
Products:  Pick-your-own blueberries, mid-June-July; blackberries, late June–July; grapes, mid-August; pumpkins, October.  Wagon rides on Saturdays in October for the public.

Directions:  Take highway 460 toward Appomattox.  Take the Bent Creek/Highway 26 exit.  Take highway 26 (Oakville Road) 5 miles.  Turn right onto 608 (Piney Mountain Road) and go 2 miles.  Turn left onto Village Garden Lane.
Hours:  9 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday-Saturday; 1-4 p.m., Sunday.  Open year-round.
Products:  Fruit trees, small fruit, herbs; Christmas trees and greenery; poinsettias, and more.

Directions:  From Lynchburg, take 460 east past Appomattox, about 4 miles; turn right onto Old Evergreen, go 1 mile.  Stop under train overpass.  Driveway is straight across the road.
Hours:  5-8 p.m., August-September, or by appointment.
Special Comments:  Farm Girl Flowers and Design is the business name.  Direct marketing is through the farm and Lynchburg Community Market.  Landscape design services are available in addition to cut flowers by the bunch, bouquet or bucket.  Evergreen Music Festival, featuring local musicians and artists Labor Day Weekend.
Products:  Fresh-picked:  2-acre sunflower field – August–September; specialty cut flowers, May–October; dried flower arrangements, October–November; Christmas wreaths and door charms.
