Directions:  From Charlottesville, south on U.S. 29 approximately 30 miles.  Turn right on Drumheller Orchard Lane.  Orchard located 1 mile behind Nelson County High School.  From Lynchburg, north on U.S. 29 approximately 30 miles.  Turn left on Drumheller Orchard Lane.
Hours:  9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Saturday; 12 noon-5 p.m., Sunday, September 9-December 20, 2008.  CLOSED THANKSGIVING AND SUNDAYS FOLLOWING.
Special Comments:  Apple Festivals – September 27 & 28 (9 a.m.-5 p.m.) and October 18 & 19, 2008 (9 a.m.-5 p.m.). Apple butter making festival Saturdays only.  Large selection of apples, hayrides to pumpkin patch, corn maze, apple sling shot, free cider samples, country music and activities for children.
Products:  Fresh-picked peaches July 15 - August 15.  Call ahead for varieties and ripening dates.  Select-your-own apples - Albemarle Pippin, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, York, Stayman, Winesap, Rome, Granny Smith, Fuji and Gala.  Fresh cider, apple butter, pumpkins, honey, country hams and side meat, sweet potatoes and sorghum molasses are also available.
